The yellow 72 Dart is being raffled off as a fundraiser for kids, bodywork is not very good, original /6 car, now 340 auto with an 8.75 rear axle. I bought a couple tickets just because.

I think I might have posted this before, but not sure. My wife refinished this train last year, it's about 15 feet long and made of concrete, weighs about 800 pounds. She expanded the area around the tree last week, I filled it in with limestone and she decided it would be a great place to display the train, rather than in the backyard where no one can see it.

Cool!!!!

Busy working on FIL’S house Reno bathroom. Install tub surround, new shower, tub faucets. Not to offend anyone but house built 1965 by a farmer, so complete farmerization, what ever you got to make it work. Makes me shake my head.

Sounds like you have plenty going on for a long time.

Ya youngest son is taking it over. There was no shower, so old copper drains etc. double 3/8 gyp rock on outside walls. And farmerization everywhere. But house stood for 60 years. So?
Should stand for another 60 years as long as it's taken care of.

Gotta save my pennies now. A lady at work had shown me pics of her late fathers 1969 Mach 1 red with black interior and approached me today that the family is ready to sell now. She said they have an offer of 8,000 but she wants to give me a chance 1st being we have talked about it for years and she knows I would respect it and she will be able to see and know its still near. I told her if its what I saw in pics I will gladly top that offer.
wow...8k? nice

Got the footings poured today.

And I’ll add this: Concrete guys get a LOT of respect from me, as I HATE this kind of work!

But once these are set and cured, this part of the project is done, and I can move onto framing the new wall in a few days. That stuff I enjoy…

Back is really sore, and I’m pooped. Nap time. Someone please wake me for dinner!

On a project like I would have thought about a skid steer and screw piles. Little styrofoam some plywood and stakes. Screw piles are amazing things. Have set many grade beams on them

No room for that, as there’s a Shelter Logic tent/building about 10 feet away from the door, hence all of the pictures taken from the side….

We had our sunroom raised-up and set on helical piers last fall though, so I’m familiar with them.

Plus, there’s a full foundation running around the perimeter of the building, 4-1/2 feet down, so that also eliminated the helical piers option.
