I remember those days. I sure miss my old man.

Me Too. Dad had a major heart attack at 67 yrs old. He was robbed of seeing his family expand. He would have had a blast with his grandkids and great grandkids.
Sure miss him but fond memories. I have a cassette with him talking but makes me well up so can't play it too often.

It's been a little bit below average temperatures around here for the last week and a bit, plus a fair amount of rain, but that looks like it will be changing soon. Sunny and mid 70s starting tomorrow, well into the high 80s by mid next week. Might go check out a car show on Sunday about 10 miles down the road from town. They usually get a good turnout of 300 or more cars, see how ambitious I am.

Happy day for me. Just got my MSD tach adapter figured and mapped out. Got to say the instructions were clear as mud. Anyway go for the install after supper, then hopefully my period correct Autometer tach will read properly. Make it a great one guys, I’m already smiling.

As Randy said, it's going to be warm next week and according to the weather liar anyway.

Gotta save my pennies now. A lady at work had shown me pics of her late fathers 1969 Mach 1 red with black interior and approached me today that the family is ready to sell now. She said they have an offer of 8,000 but she wants to give me a chance 1st being we have talked about it for years and she knows I would respect it and she will be able to see and know its still near. I told her if its what I saw in pics I will gladly top that offer.

A lot of money but well worth it if it's in decent shape I would think. I'm not a Ford guy but a 69 Mach 1, hell yea.

Not a Ford guy either but every time I think about modifying my fast back Barracuda, it ends up looking like a Mustang. LOL.

69 Mach 1 is one of the best looking Mustangs in my opinion. Of course condition is everything, but the values are pretty high, especially if it is a 428 car. 351C 4V cars are valuable too.
I dropped the ball on an opportunity to pick up a 428 car when I was 17 for $250.00. Block was cracked but car was complete and had a shaker hood!

Oh hell no. I'm all about spending more money than a crate engine costs for less horsepower and no warranty.

That is how the Boss 302 was created, those free breathing Cleveland heads bolted to a high compression windsor block.
