Has been 85, 90F for 3 days drier than a popcorn fart. If fact I’m scared to fart it’s so dry I might start a fire. My oldest son is a Canadian Ranger, he has been unlisted for fire duty. Kind of worries me but he’s a smart guy but **** happens. Make it a good one guys
Aint looking good. Been hot here too.

Looks like I will be able to finish planting my crop this week.
I dont have much garden space. Going vertical. Trying musk melons again. Got 2 ripe ones a couple years ago.

That Deere looks like an old timer. Something like my FordsView attachment 1716412976 built like a full size farm tractor, common parts and probably an indestructible Kholer engine
Yup Kholer engine. It has an internal compression release on start-up. The generator is the starter. If you touch the start circuit, its gonna start. You cant bump it and not start it. It's amazing.

Same as my old fords. Mine have a mag/ generator behind flywheel and a magnet style starter. Got 1 for parts, 1 with a snowblower on it and one with a rotor tiller on it. All are hydrostatic. Also have a 3 blade 48” mower deck. But have a cheap Craftsman Tractor/ lawnmower for cutting grass

I use the tractor for dragging around yard implements and little trailers. I mow my postage stamp lawn with a push mower. Takes me about 45 minutes.

Mine takes an hour/ half on 42” deck, two many trees to go around

man is it ever smoky here, wind blowing smoke in from forest fires. Just a haze. Almost making the eyes water.

I saw that on the news. Feel for you man. Been lucky around here for 2 years.
Been doing the rain dance, every day must be doing it wrong is the head Bob with the right foot or the left. We’ve had an inch/half since the snow left. Been hauling garbage paying by the truck load. Can’t burn it as per norm. One good thing is the grass is my favourite colour brown, haven’t had to cut grass this year yet. Weather liar says rain possible next week, hope he’s right for a change.
