Been raining since about 11 AM here, expected to continue into Sunday, could see up to 8 inches of rain in some areas, likely only get about 2 or 3 here. It's been dry for so long, should help the lawn and the garden a whole bunch. Heard that higher elevations could get the other four letter word! At least that should help the wildfire situation some, look out you guys out east, gonna send some of the waterworks your way.

Looks like the rain missed me but I will get a sprinkle out of it.

One part of Labrador was supposed to get snow.

Morning guys.
The car show was fabulous last night and the weather was great.
There was a funeral there last night but the people insisted that they didn't cancel the show.
The guy must have been a car enthusiast.
Just some of the cars there

Haven't checked the weather yet but I'll be at the Ajax show tonight if you're interested John.
It's at the Crap Tire store and always a great turnout.
If you get there call me at 289-928-5574 and we can meet up.
I know it's a bit of a drive for you but it's always a great turnout and the Timmies is very close.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning guys. Getting ready to drive 2 hours away to pick up another piece of equipment for the shop. I think 800 is a decent deal so I decided it was time to get one for frame and body work.

Happy first day of summer
Summer coming in with a roar here, as heat indexes (indeces?) between 105 and 110 both today and tomorrow. Was hoping to get some insulation up in the shed this weekend, but may have to shut ‘er down if it gets too soupy. Can’t take the humidity like I used to….and thank God the new heat pump is up and running here in the house.

Have a great weekend, gents! Stay cool and dry!

Thanks we need it.

Meant to mention the old black Pontiac at the show was built right here in Oshawa and his father owned it and passed it down when he died. It's been well taken care of as you can see.
The weather says 40% chance of 1mm of rain. Yeah right, I've heard that before.
See what happens before I go to the show

Left early this morning to go to Bismark and visit my jail bird son. Took the Scamp and was a great day for a drive.
Sons doing good and had a good visit with him.

Morning guys.
Glad your son is doing good Fred. One less thing you worry about.
Didn't go to the show last night due to the weather. Don't think it rained but sure looked threatening.
Will be hot and steamy today but will go to the car show here in town.
The head of the Car Club who puts on this show landed up with cancer and was told to get things in order as his days were numbered.
The car club decided to have a wake for him while he was still on this earth which apparently was a great send off for him.
That was several months ago and now they are saying the cancer has receded and he's doing well.
Not every day you can go to your own wake. Guess it was good practice haha.
Found this interesting. This is Al Capone's cell at Alcatraz. Nothing like living in luxury and getting 3 meals a day is there especially at taxpayers' expense.
Have a great day

Apparently there is or was a tunnel running under the CP main line east of Winnipeg in Elma Mb. that Capone used to run liquor up into Winnipeg. Have never witnessed it but heard the stories all my life.
