Last nights show was fabulous only problem being I forgot my cell phone.
The weather was great and we almost packed the lot.
Several car clubs showed up so lots of new stuff and the scenery wasn't bad either.
A couple in particular.
Another one tonight which should be good and will fill the lot I'm sure.
Have a great day on this last day of June.

Menopause :poke:
Hey Charlie, I ran into a bit of a problem on the 63 Fury I'm working on and need your advice on what the hell am I doing wrong.
In order to get the left front fender to line up with the hood the gap between the core support and fender is to big.
Measured everything out and it was never hit on the frontend. :wtf:

Not sure I can be of much help. Really difficult to do with pictures. Is this what you are talking about?

Probably built that way. If the sheet metal fits and the wheels can be aligned I'd probably just move on.
Yea I know they never did fit right and I guess I should not let it bother me.
Thanks Charlie I just needed a kick start to get the damn thing done.

More than I wanted to do but it pays the bills and the owner is helping out and pays me well.
That's cool, nice to get paid as you go. I have a big collision job. 2022 Silverado. I'm at $16,000 so far. Three different claims. Great thing is that Dave Smith had all of the parts in stock and price matched the aftermarket prices.

Wow that's great getting a good break on parts.

Morning guys.
Got rained out last night so no pictures.
However, I found one of the cars from the Sunday show.
I talked to the owner and told me it had sat in a barn except for the back end.
He bought it for 2500 from his friend and cost hom 3000 to put it back on the road.
What a gorgeous car

So, Happy Canada Day today.
Not sure if the car show will be open today or not. Have to find out.
Supposed to be hot is all I know right now.
Hope everyone has a great day. In Canada we will.
This will help I'm sure

It's been humid most of the day and the local car shows are closed today and supposed to rain later.
Just a lazy day today and didn't even pour a Crown Royal. Still can't buy Maple which is a shame.
Keep cool.
Going to cook up some burgers on the Q tonight

You can’t by crown royal maple because Deago the owner of the Seagrams distillery in Gimli Mb where Crown is made has retired the run. Next time I’m up that way I’ll post pics of the lines of ageing werehouses. Easy over a square mile. The reason the distillery is there WATER

Can't find the Maple down here but I keep my eye opened for a stray bottle to send to Mark.

Yep, it's quite the place. I should try and post some pictures of the Black Velvet distillery here in town.
