Used to be whenever I was in the Black Velvet distillery picking up there would be pallets of bottles stacked 25 feet high throughout the shipping area. Depending on the wind direction, some days the scent in the air is very pleasant! I was only in the Gimli distillery once, but it was memorable.

I think you can book a tour what it costs don’t know. I imagine they will give free tasters. But that distillery is the world supply of Crown Royal whiskey

Only an hour north of Winnipeg, if you pick the right weekend you can take the Gimli drag strip in also.

I’ll watch the itinerary and let you know what weekend the fueler show is. Every year they bring in some fuelers for licensing runs. Good show no actual racing but good show. But the SS and MP classes and bracket 1 racing are good, most are local cars

Lots of great racing action in Gimli, used to be an all Mopar event back when I was in the Manitoba Mopar Association. Downtown Gimli is worth a visit too.

I used to really enjoy walking along the wharf and the beach, followed by a good meal at one of the local restaurants.

I get my new hearings aids this afternoon from Costco.
1009 bucks for two out the door. A lot cheaper than my first pair.
They're still good, 7 years old but my hearing has changed.
Hopefully I won't be asking what my wife said haha.
Here's something built not for speed but for comfort.
