What a gorgeous day and no rain in sight.
It might get really humid later tonight.
The car show should be great.
OOOPs How did she get in here

Yes probably a 16,000 dollar car as is but I might get it for 9,000 which makes it worthwhile
Oh, my! I admit that I’ll be quite envious of you, should you work out that deal, as I have owned three different ‘69 Mustangs in the past (I know them well), and it’s one of my all time favorite vehicles!

It’s also a “bucket list” car that I WILL reacquire at some point in time, and as a Ford guy (I pointed this out in my very first post on this site, link below), if you decide you’d like to simply flip it, I would like to throw my hat in the ring.

Of course my wife would hit the roof and make a big stink about this, as I have nowhere to put it right now (I’d have to use off-site storage for a year or so), but she understands my lust and passion for these cars, as we’ve had numerous discussions about them….

Heat exhaustion is real, and it sucks! Been busting my *** trying to get as much work done as I can on the shed/shop before I go back to work on Monday, but like a dumbass I overdid it this morning.

93* out there right now (dry bulb), and the “Real Feel” temp is 104*. Guess I can’t take the heat like I used to back in the day….

Stay cool (and hydrated), gents!

Yup, when you are thirsty, its too late. Hope you recover. I experienced the real deal once when this country boy got lost on an exploration in St. Louise.

CJ Pony parts looks like about 2 grand for all of the metal to make the car right. I will make the offer to her Monday and see if I get it.
Looks like a pretty decent car for that money, I hope you are successful CF.

Edit

Appears to be a 351W, if so that's a reasonable price, however if it's a 302 2V, that's a little less valuable IMHO.

Hope you're ok Jim, I too have been a dumbass at least once before, I try to make sure that I drink water all day now and don't overexert myself in the heat of the day, we've been in the mid to high 90s this week, pushing 100 next week.

Morning guys.
It was a great turnout last night and the weather was perfect with a nice breeze.
I even won a door prize. A free medium 2 topping pizza. That's perfect for my wife and I.
Another good one tonight maybe 5 miles from here.
We're right next to the Oshawa Airport

Thank you. To be honest I never got all that thirsty. Just sweat a lot, didn’t drink enough water, and didn’t pee much/enough.

Thanks, Randy. Feeling much better this morning, but still have a pretty good headache. Thankfully the weather cooled off considerably overnight, and while I was (past tense) hoping to get the remaining walls studded-in this weekend, it’s not looking very likely now.

That red 78 Camaro was bought new at the dealership I worked at. I worked on it when on the bench and wrote work orders on it while a service writer.
He still has the work orders I wrote up on it and we've been friends ever since.
It was a 305 auto but now a healthy LS 6 speed and it's rallied mostly in the U.S.
