I was always trying to set the field on fire If my fire watch wasn’t paying attention. Farming is always romanticized in memory! A couple of thirty hour days back to back will break you of that! Don’t get wife started on that topic. She can hit you in the tractor cab with a biscuit at twenty yards while your making the turn all day long. Never even get out of the throttle. I would have starved with out her.
:rofl:I like gravy on biscuits but would hate to have one tossed at me.
I liked baling hay that was a peaceful job.

Yes I left farming in my late teens and got back into it in my 40`s and it is not the joy I remembered. I do still love the smell of fresh turned dirt though. That is one thing that remained the same.

Morning guys ,not a lot of farming around here , I did hay once , city kid (me) showed up in a muscle shirt , to throw Bails , at the end of the day looked like I’d been dragged through a prickle bush , live and learn , cheers have a great day.

Thats about all I know about farming too. Bucking bails. We let the tractor drive itself most of the time. Raining kitty's and puppies here. I'll try not to send it East but pretty hard to do. At least it's not white. Seems like just yesterday when we were discussing our snow accumulations.
Neighbor saw a small Grizzly in his yard yesterday and they saw it by the school too. I reckon they'll set a trap down here at the end of the road. This will be the third time they set a trap down here since I built this house 23 years ago.

We would starve without the likes of you and CF.

Got everything on my list like a 12 pack Corona beer, 2 bottles of wine, 6 pack of hard lemonade and 2 bottles of whiskey. HO and a 12 pack of sprite. :)
