My garage and breeze way roof is tin and have dents all over, some are dented pretty deep, so looks like some hail was pretty good size.

Sorry to hear that CF but unfortunately it's part of life but some go sooner then they should. My Dad died at 67 yrs old after a massive heart attack. He's been gone 31 yrs and still miss him like crazy. He was a butcher and had his own store and he had an incredible sense of humour and always had the customers laughing. We always have our pictures, movies and memories though and will never forget them.

It's the brides birthday today. We went out shopping and then took her out for lunch. If she plays her cards right she might have her way with me tonight.

Looks like you had a hot day today FOG. It was quite nice here today...not too hot but Sunday may be a killer feeling like into the 40's. I'll be at the car show at least in the morning anyway. If it's too hot I'll come home. Going to the funeral home car show tonight and then the big one at Crap Tire in Ajax on Saturday.

Finally got the exhaust manifold fixed on the motor home today. gonna charge the a/c and she is ready to go. but the hail broke 2 roof vents so got to replace them as well.
Got a few farmers in the area that lost there canola and had no crop insurance. sure wish I could help them, but I have no money and I did offer my time to help them but at this point they just ask for prayer. CF I hope you do good this year because if we didn't have farmers we don't eat.

It sounds like you didnt do too bad on the RV for the size of hail you had. I agree mother nature can make farming tough and wipe out a crop in the blink of an eye. I dont buy crop insurance either.
It's mostly big farms over here Not to many small farms left and sad to see.
we have big shops going up every ware because they ether give tax money to the government or go in debt and build shops or buy new equipment.
Iv'e been in a few shops that are amazing about 150' by 200' or bigger with a full kitchen 4 or 5 bathrooms Have no Idea how many bed rooms living area is enormous even have a day care for the kids.
Most of the tractors are driven by GPS the guy just sits in the AC cab and the tractor does everything. Not sure if the combine is GPS.
Sure miss the small farms CF and if you have no crop ins. that means you are not in debt up to your head. Good for you my friend.

Yup very few family farms left over this way also. Big outfits come in and buy stuff up then hire people to farm for them. Everything I own is old but it is paid for. I just need to buy land because right now we lease all that we farm. The govt. took the family farm so they could expand the airport.

We all wish that Biff. Whenever I drive past the cemetery I can see mom and dads grave and always say hi. I'll go up to the cemetery tomorrow and wish Dad a Happy Father's Day. Always have done that. To brighten the day my family is coming up for the day. My son has a three hr drive both ways and my daughter just over an hr. Love them all to bits.6 for me I still pick up the phone and try and call him then I remember chit he’s not here

The adjuster was out yesterday and we went over the house and garage. Looks like I'm gonna have to replace the roof on the house. I should say mobile home, it was bought new 3 years ago.
