Hows the weather at your end Biff ?Morning men happy Tuesday (so you guys know what pill window to open ) have a great day off to participate at work yippie![]()
Pretty sure you got that one backward. No women in my life now and not sure if I can put up with one.
I hope they work well for her. I see a lot of people struggle with them. What's up folks! I got brand new hearing aids today!
I don't get to wear them, but I bought new hearing aids today!
I just take her with me when I go anywhere I might need to hear.
It just seems odd to me that after an entire career where most of it was in an aircraft between 3 GE turboshaft engines, shooting guns, and Kenwood 777 speakers, that I do not have the worst hearing in the family.
But, such is life! At least she can hear me now!
I hope they work well for her. I see a lot of people struggle with them.
They are never cheap Jeff but I'm sure she is worth every penny.I believe they will. Her last set is six years old and just did not perform very well anymore so she pretty much just stopped wearing them. In reality I am amazed that I do not need them. I make up for it in glasses though!
No a cheap date though!
Good job FOG but if I were in the back seat I would have bailed out. lolThat's funny Mark , on my 50 th birthday my wife got me a flying lesson because I always wanted to fly. So I get to the airport and low and behold the instructor taking me up is the Dad of a good friend of mine. So we get in a Piper cub and he says it's all mine , but if I tell you I'm taking over you let go of the controls right away. I did a good job taking off, (in my opinion..lol) Had fun flying around, when it came to landing I only bounced a couple of times, (the kids where on the tarmac laughing their asses off).

Yup. Fred said he was prepping for paint. Very tedious job. That old Chevy truck I did took 12 hours just to tape it up. I hate painting. I paint cause I have to.Painting the whole truck but the roof and tail gate so no paint yet Prime and blocked all day.

I got real sick after my wife died painting in a shop with no paint booth I had to sleep siting up or I couldn't breath real good. With 8 kids at home it was time to stop painting. And like BP said I only do it cause I have to now.Yup. Fred said he was prepping for paint. Very tedious job. That old Chevy truck I did took 12 hours just to tape it up. I hate painting. I always prime 2 or 3 times I can't feel my body work by hand to good any more.Priming twice sure does separate the big dogs from the little dogs.![]()
I'm dabbling in PDR. That **** aint easy either. Physically and patience. I just want to hit it with a grinder and ship it to the paint department. LOLI always prime 2 or 3 times I can't feel my body work by hand to good any more.
I did mostly PDR work the last 5 years on hailed out cars and this last year really kicked my butt.
