Landed up with a cord of Birch so will put that up for sale as soon as he cuts the trunk to ground level next week. They came at 10:30 and just left at 5. It was dam cold out there and a good wind blowing as well. I was out 4-5 times but got frozen with that wind.

That was a good size Birch was it not!

I have not cut firewood in 40 years but I remembered a cord (chord) is a bunch.

I hope it offsets your costs Mark!

Yeah it was a big one. It was planted in 1956 when this house was built. I'll post some pictures on here tomorrow. The guy rented a cherry picker and will rent the grinder to do the stump but it was 1000 bucks so he asked for half and the rest when the stump is finished when the frost is in the ground so the machine doesn't sink into the grass.

I am surprised that FOG is not posting some good wood jokes yet. Sure wood be nice.

Hey BP I need a second opinion from another body man. My Scamp was undercoated when new and I scraped off a few spots on the under side and looks real good under the undercoating. Do you think I should strip it all off and start over or leave it and just clean it up?

FWIW from an ignorant Jarhead, I am going to take all mine off the Dart.

Using a needle gun seems easiest!

Id leave it. I see guys remove it all the time and I shake my head. I think it might be asbestos. A lot of work for what benefit. IDK maybe you will uncover something that needs attention.

Ok BP looks like it's coming off.

I spent 3weeks in a chain locker with one of those I had scale every wear ! Had to have fresh air mask , fresh air pumped in what a gross job !

Good night guys.

I tried to remove my nose today on the Dart. Getting 2 black eyes too so I will take a fistful of Vitamin I and crash!

Hasta manana!

Hope you feel better Jeff. I dislike electric tools for that reason. Bout broke my arm with a 1/2 inch electric drill. Got all tangled up in my buffer the other day. Literally stopped the motor before I could unplug it.
