That's awesome Fred. A whole lot off your mind I bet! Glad to hear it worked out!

Maybe now you can relax a bit.

Now we just have to live long enough to enjoy the program before it goes broke!

Went to the optometrist today . Pressure is good after the laser surgery . What a relief !! Thanks to everyone for your support .

Morning CF I am also gonna stop in at the wrecking yard while I'm in town to see if I can find that 41 dodge rear glass. you said 41-48 dodge or Chrysler right?
Yes 41-48 Dodge or Chrysler coupe. It appears we have one coming from a yard in Minnesota at this piont. Well it measures the same and we paid him to ship it. It is from a 1947 Desoto coupe and it appears the same. I was shocked to see the Chrysler Dodge and Desoto all have the same beltline moulding and almost everything else from there up.

That's flippin GREAT Sir! I bet that takes a load off your mind!

Has anyone besides me ever wondered what life would be like losing a sense, vision, hearing or a limb, arm, leg or such? Maybe it's because of what my chosen profession was but I saw it happen to a number of folks. Really makes you humble to thnk about what changes it would bring about. I don't know, maybe I am just morbid.

All the time. Sight. Man that would be tough.

I had a fan blade cut my arm near off a couple years ago. It was over 6 weeks tied to me so I know how tough of a change it is to lose a limb. I am real happy to have it back and use able again.

Glad you made it CF and by the way no rear glass at the wrecking yard I stopped at but glad you found it.

So true BP I was riding my dirt bike when I was 15 and stopped on the side of the road to let the bike cool down and smoke a cigarette when a car pulled up along side of me and one guy in the back seat rolled his window down and ask if I would take him for a ride on the bike. I was kinda shocked because everyone in the car was twice my age but told him yes I will take you for a ride. he jumped out the window and to my surprise he had no legs and was able to get on my bike and we rode for about a 1/2 hour and took him back to his car and talked to his friends and found out he lost his legs in combat. I cried real hard that day and never saw him again but good memories.

Made a bunch of calls to the places I know of that cater to us old car lovers and I had no luck either sir!

I didn't check out of NC though!

there you go BP good size dent that was 12" long and was able to get it out by paintless dent repair. Is it perfect? No and haven't seen one that big that was. You and I could find it if we knew where it was.

Some dents come out and some don't CF but I am loosing my ability to do it.
Ya, we know the ones that will pop. I did one the other day that I knew would pop but man it was a hard push. When it finally "popped" on me it was loud and scared me a little. It was amazing how much of that dent diapered with one good push. After that is when I suck. That last 10 % takes some serious skills. Or the ones that dont pop. Just a soft crease. I dont know where to start.

Spent a couple hours extracting the rear molding retainer screws from the Impalas rear window opening. That was fun. Battery pliers one eighth of a turn at a time. Its actually pretty solid though. A couple little rust holes where the water collects like Mark described.
