Lots done getting under coating off but break time and a snack.
Ho yea and pee break.
You have WAY more ambition than me Mr.Scigliano. I'm trying to straighten the frame on this POS Impala without a frame rack. Its tougher than I thought. Gonna resort to some cutting and re-welding I guess.

After raising 8 kids it's hard to slow down to much but starting to do a good job of slowing down. LOL
I was never real good with frames but if you can't pull it then cut it for sure. Not gonna hurt it and we all been there I think.

My daughter smacked up the front end of my wife's Chevette. Couldn't open the doors so I hooked a chain on the front and to a tree and backed up quick. Fixed enough to get the doors open then fixed the rest of the car. Worked out pretty good for an amateur

Cleaning up real good but I have under coating in my shirt and undies and I thought sand was bad. lol

Had my share of it for sure. One job I did a eight year tour running two frame racks with 3D measuring and an alignment rack feeding 8 bodymen. We were doing 3-4 million a year and having fun doing it.Partying with the boss and sending me all over the nation for training. Good old days for sure.

That thing been hotrodded already huh? Drive shaft loop.
No I put the drive shaft loop in last year.
Good frame guys are hard to find around here we have to take all our frames 100 miles to get pulled straight.
He moved out a few years ago so when he comes to visit he sleeps on an air mattress now. I think he was kinda shocked to see it under my car though. lol

Hope ya didn't break his dinner plate too. :)

Not a fair match being the x frame did not take the hit. The sheet metal wont hold up as the video shows. Run it into a Impala 5 years newer and the results will be alot different.
How did it miss the frame? They hit virtually in the center of each other. I'll have to admit a 5 year newer Impala would of been stronger with the parallel frame but that is a moot point. They did exaggerate it for sure but most new cars are a lot safer than they used to be by absorbing the impact instead of turning the frame into an arrow and shoving the steering column strait into the driver.
