That's what I thought but just checking to make sure. Thanks BP.
I did a Savoy for a guy years ago. He had it in an un-insulated metal building and the condensation literally rained on the car. I don't know what it was that came off of that metal with the water but I thought we were going to repaint it. Had to re-color sand and buff.

I never had problems with rain water drying on cars but our city water in this state really etches the paint on cars.

Hey BP my son has water spots on his car and trying to clean them off, looks like it etched into the paint. Got any ideas without using compound? Tryed the clay and polish but not taking it out.
Hey Fred had some water spots in my fiberglass hood scoop, tried everything , I found this is the only stuff that works .

Got the water spots out for me .

Thanks FOG will get some. Haven't found anything that works so far besides compound.
Ya. There is a difference between water spots(mineral deposits) which are water soluble and chemical etching of the paint. If the clay doesn't do it, the permanent fix is compounding. I think some of this new nano technology is great stuff but it is just a filler. Cool stuff though.
The etching you can actually see the pits in the paint.

That's what I thought but didn't know about the fillers. Was pits in the paint on my sons car but he is out there buffing and polishing his car. Gave him some lessons and let him do it. Gotta let them learn to do things I won't be here for ever.

Paint is so thin on these modern cars. Cant take too much of the compounding. I sand through on edges all of the time when prepping blend panels. Doesn't take much.

Going to look at a job tomorrow. 63 split window. I know the guy cant afford it. Would like to help him get it on the road again. He's been jacked around. It would be a shame to cut corners on that car but we only live once. He just wants to drive his vette again.

Oh **** don't find those every day. Do what you can for him just to keep it on the road is worth it. Would be nice to be rich and do everything perfect but not gonna happen here.

Far out things ended well tonight ! Walked for a long time yelled at people feel much better ! And I won !

For some cheap entertainment I put Cuda on rack just to give me something to do in the shop. Keeps me from getting pissed off over lack of progress from painter on Demon. And parked my Hemi in front of the bar! Hah! Happy Thursday boys.

I know how frustrating it can be John I want to see it painted as well.
The Cuda looks good on the rack and that hemi will be sweet sounding.
