Good news for me BluePrint engines just shipped my motor today. I am a happy camper....

Will be taking it back off till I get the engine in the hole so I can work on bolting everything up without scratching fenders and be able to sit my skinny *** on the tire bolting the tranny up.

Well just got the engine for my sons Chevy Cobalt so looks like next week I'll putting that in the hole and my 408 will be here next week so need to put that in the hole.
Looks like i'll be working in the hole for a while. lol

Just pulled the valve cover off the engine going in the Chevy Cobalt and looks real good. Plugs are an issue not sure if running lean is good but I am not a mechanic. everything is dry not any oil on anything so was thinking maybe I should squirt some oil down the spark plug holes and dribble some oil on the cams and timing chain before I start it. Any suggestions guys.

A little is fine. Does engine rotate easy by hand?

It's hard to see the plug but modern fuel injected cars run pretty lean. I'd dump oil all over those cams and followers too. I dont know about the spark plug holes. Cylinders don't really like a lot of oil.
