Morning guys almost a frost gonna be soon I'm afraid.
Cleaning my messy garage today and trying to decide what color to paint my scamp engine.

Eastwood makes a clear designed to go over bare metal. I like orange on the block. I think blue was the corporate color of 1973.

Just what I was thinking of using FOG how's it holding up. Did you spray or brush it on?
I sprayed it on Fred , holding up very well ! I put a little grease on my brass frost plugs , didn't want to cover them up . When your done just wipe the grease away ... why am I telling you this **** your a body man you know this stuff , just rambling...lol !!

Not rambling FOG it's a good idea was going to tape them up grease is much easier.

Been working on my scamp sun roof seal trying to find something that works. Not available anymore. Sun roofs were made in Germany from what I've been told so I bought a BMW seal on line that looked close but not quite. so gonna have to come up with something.
This has been the hardest part of the whole build.

Yes I am FOG was thinking about painting the heads and intake silver or paint the thing orange.
Wouldn't orange clash with the red exterior? What about painting the block the same colour as the exterior and then you have the aluminum heads and intake to break it up. Just a suggestion.

Kinda what I was thinking Mark the block is black already and looks good just have to cover the bare aluminum with clear and would look good I think. But just getting ideas no big rush.
