I gutted a duster cap that seals underneath it. Should seal better. No more fuel running down the 1/4. Hopefully. Found my fuel vent completely plugged by some kind of mud toting insect. Might have been some of my drive-ability issues. I did a bunch of dumb stuff to that car long before the internet. Ruined the heads by porting wrong I now believe. Had 202's put in J heads. 273 rockers shimmed up cause the pushrods are too long. Small exhaust manifolds really choking it. It never did run like I thought it would.

If we didn't do stupid stuff we would never learn I think.

Love that Charger. A guy nemed Jody Kerr had one in high school. Red and love those lines. He wrecked the poor thing. I need to stop thinking of it before I buy another project. lol

Mine had a 383 , wish it had a hemi , but was still fun. This picture is at Detroit dragway , where I got the trophy.
