not just that...about 2 hours after i wrote that it started downpouring again
this time it last for nearly 2 hours and was lit up by lightning the entre time

That's like last Sat at the car races. When we left we came into the town of Durham and there is a steep hill coming into town. We had to detour because the whole downtown had flooded from all the rain and was still coming down really hard.
