Snag, Yukon, holds the record for the coldest Canadian temperature ever on this date in 1947...81 degrees below zero! That same day, in the interior of Alaska, temps dropped as low as 75 below. Guess that's why they call it Fe-BRRR-ary.

I bet they have no problem with homeless people living in tents on the sidewalks in town. :lol:
 
Warming up a bit today and there's talk of rain. We'll see.

They can't live by themselves at that age and need assistance. Once they get accustomed to it they usually like it because they've met new friends.
But why all the bitchin, swearing, and carrying on. I know you don’t want to leave your home, but nobody is here to take care of you and you can’t take care of yourself so the home it is. All your buddies are there go have fun. I just don’t get it.

Because he has been independent for a very long time. Call it pride. I call it foolish and selfish and that is me ( the pot) calling the kettle black.
 
I have to wonder what states has the biggest differences in temp. I've seen it change 59 degrees overnight.
Mo has had 158*F temp swing from the highest to the lowest record temps. Glad that doesn't happen on a day to day, hr by hr swing. We've had 40* swings several times.
 
A lot of "survivalists" think Montana is the state to be in. Think twice about that one. I'd look for something with a little more moderate climate though I have to say, there is something to be said about some good freezing temperatures and keeping the bugs at bay.
