I make something similar, but not so high end. Fry up loose hamburger season to taste make a rue (gravy) with hamburger spoon on top smashed potatoes, with favourite veggies. My favourite is home canned tomatoes. Slurp smack.

I went a little overboard for valentines day. Wife doesn't eat much of this stuff so it turns into 2 meals. $20.00 Ribeye.

Morning guys and it's a cold one out there this morning.
At least the winds have died down from yesterday.
I definitely be out cleaning the driveway again.
Maybe 5 inches by the looks of it.
Spring can't come soon enough.
We have Family Day today and Flag Day down south.
What ever day you're celebrating make it a good one

In Manisnowba it Louis Riel day, Don’t get me started. Other western provinces family day. Only in Manitoba would this happen.

Well the driveway is all cleaned now.
My wife did the sidewalks and steps which was a big help.
Of course the plow had come sometime overnight and buried the entrance.
I also did the driveway across the road. My friend is away and his daughter is there looking after the dog.
So made sure she could get out when needed.
I was tired when I got inside and had a snooze for 30 minutes.
Hope this is all for a few days anyway.

Your sure getting wacked with the snow. No snow here yet just f……. Cold and won’t quit. 4:30 pm warmest it’s been all day-15 F. Box stove sure eating up the wood pile these days. Just finished cutting new urn box, $100 piece of clear maple. This will be an in stock item, so I don’t get surprised like my pal Kevin. Hard to make something mint when your under the gun. Slowly getting the new jig figured out. Got my gluing and clamping and squaring down to a science. Carpenters glue doesn’t give you very much open time, maybe 20 minutes the most. Make it a good one guy’s

Thanks for sharing the cold temps and the snow, although your generosity is a little much. Predicting a foot of snow by this time tomorrow, with windchills in the negatives. Will wait to see what happens

Morning guys.
Lots of excitement in Toronto yesterday.
A Delta airplane landed at Pearson Airport and crashed. It flipped over and landed upside down.
There were 80 people including 4 crew member.
19 people got hurt 2 seriously plus a little kid that got airlifted to Toronto Sick Kids Hospital.
They were strong winds at the time (43mph).
That probably was the cause but it ripped one wing off the plane so now they'll be an investigation into the cause.
The weather guy said we've had more snow in the last 3-4 days than we did all year last year.
Looks like there's more on the way.
My son was told to stay home from work last night because the highways were all closed off.
This one picture is a house near where my son lives.
The other one was taken by a passenger before they go out of the plane.
I think some people will be buying lottery tickets today

With the snow, been there done that. No thanks, glad you’re being selfish Mark. Keep it up. You

we had a water installed after we moved in. 20 some years later, it's leaking. replaced and installer says you'll be lucky with 5 years!!! maybe I should have just rented one :)
get a tankless... look into it....upfront cost is a little more...but the savings will catch up on the back end over the years..they have come a long way. The stainless steel heat exchangers are warrantied for 15 years.(providing you descale them once every 2 years DEPENDING on the hardness of your water. Very easy to do..never pay someone to do that. Sounds like we are all mech inclined in this group, and that process is straight forward even if your not a heating guy. Hwt's are not what they used to be. thin walled, thin chamber etc. The tankless will only heat your water on demand. The hwt's turns on and off all day long even when you dont use it. I stopped renting 20 years ago.
