Sorry to hear that!

I'm on a 12 hour shift myself today (6:00 to 6:00), as I'm trying to get **** done before my wife's surgery on Tuesday next. Here I am, trying to get caught-up, and the Boss came in and started loading me up this morning. I told him I can only do 3 things at once...

I have a 63 Fury coming over for bodywork and paint tomorrow and I think that will be the last of it for me.
Just made another chin spoiler and this might be the last one I make. Time to hang up my hat I think.

Thanks, Fred. She's been suffering in silence for a long time (bone spurs in her foot).

They are letting me take an extended leave of absence from work here for "as long as necessary", as she won't be able to walk the dogs, do the grocery shopping (etc) for quite some time, according to the Docs, so in between talking care of her, the dogs, and the house, I'm going to take advantage of this and do as much work on the shed/shop as possible. Outer layer of insulation has been ordered (2" foam board), and I need to move some of the stuff outta there so I have room to work.

BTW your Ford pickup is one of my favorite trucks so take care of it and the wife. :thumbsup:
 
Well, things turned toward a strong positive. Manager apologized straight up for her actions, decided to take a step back, relax a little, and gave everyone the afternoon off for the weekend. She's going to let me focus more on what I need to get done.

Being retired I miss someone riding my ***. Yeah right!!!!!
Been sunny all day but cold and windy.
A car show tonight but don't think I'll be going. Too cold for me.
After losing this weight I sure feel the cold.
Now the weather for Monday and Tues has changed.
Around 22 and sunny on Monday and rain on Tuesday.
I wish the weather liar would make up my mind.
