Morning guys
WOW!!! is it ever raining. I can hear it even with my headphones on.
Good turnout last night. It was warm at first then the wind picked up and it cooled down really fast and everyone started to leave at 7.
This show will keep open till the guys have had enough or the snow flies haha

Good to know that you are done with the harvest, and I have to agree that upgrading your equipment is a great idea. Your time is valuable and losing productivity to breakdowns becomes costly in more than just $. Thankfully you have a good neighbor.

Hooked up to a 7 and a 1/4 lb bass, we had a blast, but the bass I seen and changed to my bass rod, med/heavy rod and real and mest up our brim bed area, he said he will throw my rod in if I did that again.... memories made lol

Damn, it's so slow at work I could go fishing/drinking and I don't think anyone would notice. Took last Thursday off because there was nothing to do, starting to get a little bit concerned about how much longer I will have a job at this rate. I sure as hell don't want to be going looking for another job at 62 ffs.
Damn! It's slow here as well, but not that bad....
Hopefully things will pick up for you, my friend!

Hi guys. They called for rain all day today.
It did really rain hard this morning but so far it's only overcast . See what tonight brings.
I know the temps will drop for the rest of the week but will be sunny right through the long Thanksgiving weekend

2nd largest aerospace manufacturer laid me off at 63 1/2 years. 18 years with company. I wanted the last remaining time (to 65) for 401K top off and a nice vacation. Nope. They hit a lot of near retirement guys and paid us a substantial amount if we would sign an agreement not to seek legal recourse. I was happy to get out early tbh. Won't go back to work, having too much fun.
That right there should almost be in the dictionary under "dubious honor".
That happened to me at 62 no work and not interested in looking for another job.

I would be happy to take a buyout, but I very much doubt it will happen. If I could manage it I would retire now, but I think it's a bit early yet. I do have some money invested, but don't think it is enough to get by on yet.
Is this just a "local routes" thing, Randy? My brother was an Owner/Operator for years, but he just recently signed-on to a freight company, as he's trying to wind down and doesn't want the hassles of being an O/O anymore. Anyway, according to him they can't find enough drivers to haul freight OTR....

Wow same here, rained good this morning and stopped at 10am, suns been out ever since. Our came from the south east, I bet we get rain later this evening also, we need it .
