Oh, boy! I need another jukebox project like I need a hole in the head, but a good friend just texted me some pics of an AMI model C that "needs a new home"....

Pics of the actual juke are on my phone, but they look good!

Where do you get tubes for those old girls?
Actually, that's not the hard part, as a lot of the tubes are still made (in Russia, etc) and are readily available. Plus I have my one personal stash....

It's the "one off/one year" stuff (chrome, glass, etc) that's tough to come by.

I have the day off tomorrow, and most likely I'll call the seller directly to set up a time to see it in-person.

idk...I think they are striking themselves out of a job. I'd be grateful to have a job in these times
The post office is already a billion dollars in debt and they want a raise? Good luck with that.
They also want to end home delivery so that means I have to walk a couple of blocks in a snowstorm to get my mail, yeah right!!!
They need to get rid of the high priced fat cats at the top first of all.
Send a card? Not at their prices thanks I'll send an email. At least I know it'll get there and on time. To send a card to the U.K. was 3 bucks last time I sent one plus the cost of the card and those are expensive to start so looking at 10 bucks with taxes.
So I want to send an email why?

95% of my utilities bills come email my pensions are direct deposit, friends and family are by phone text or email. About the only things in my mailbox are a bunch of flyers that 90% never get looked at but are useful as fire starters in the box stove.
Postiese your days are numbered. Shut up go back to work and say thanks for a job this weekend

yup..that about sums it up

We get very little actual 'mail' these days. We have posted a sign on our mailbox declining any and all flyers and junk mail, like Murray said, all of our bills, etc come via email. About the only things that I can think of that are mailed are our home and auto insurance renewals and policies and a couple of magazines
