Morning guys.
Well, I did get the grass seed done yesterday morning.
It had stopped raining so I managed to get most of it done then started to rain.
Got it done and then put a bird feeder up and was in the house by lunchtime.
So all that needs to be done is put the xmas decorations up outside but won't be for a while yet.
Got to get the 300 cleaned up after it got undercoated a while back. It's disgusting!!!
I was disappointed that the NHRA was cancelled because of rain.
They did show some old footage from years gone by though.
Have a great day

MARK MARK, sounds like a harelipped dog. LOL. I think i already teased Mark about that before.

Good thing I’ve learned NOT to read these post with a mouth full of coffee. There would have been a big mess to clean up

one of my first days on the job, it was raining so hard. how hard was it raining? I was going downhill and the console on my 67 Charger had water on it going uphill! guess the wiper pivot seals were shot.

I agree I came home pulling a car on the trailer one time and coming over the skyway bridge the rain was literally coming sideways and construction barrels were washing down as I was going up.
I’ve driven over that bridge no less than 20 times during the day, and NOT ONCE has the weather cooperated! I think I’ve experienced some nice weather at night (I prefer to drive through Chicago either very late at night, or very early in the morning), but in the dark, what’s to see?

Morning guys.
It's cold and snow on the ground again just not a pile of it.
It was so windy yesterday and the leaves that had fallen were running down the street.
Believe or not, some of the trees still have a pile of leaves left on them.
Have to go shopping sometime today but will also be sunny.
Have a great day

The last 3 or4 days have been really nice, 10C sunny and half assed calm. It’s Nov. this scares the crap out of me, something’s cooking. They don’t call it Winterpeg manisnowba for nothing. Oh ya way to go Riders

what's to see anyway? I was coming back from Hammond IN one nite and ended up on the Skyway. talk about scary!it looked like something out of the end of the world movies: stacks with flames, areas of darkness, very little lite. never took that wrong turn again.

Yeah. I used to drive to Cleveland 4X a year to give training, and every time I was down in that area I used to cross my fingers and/or say a silent prayer that I didn't have any issues with my vehicle.

I drove out to Flint, Michigan once to pick-up a jukebox, and ran into some lake effect snow on the SE side of Lake Michigan (Michigan City, etc) on my way back. Scary stuff, and although it was still snowing, I was never so happy to see that bridge, as I knew I wouldn't be getting any more of that heavy crap.

Lake effect snow: White knuckle driving!

one summer, I went to Indy to purchase a Chevelle from a friend. took my crew cab doolie which had a taller than the cab roof cap and a trailer with a short neck. loaded the car up and came home. turns out, it was the worst wind storm they had in in awhile. I had the wheel turned to the left the whole time coming up I-65 and my knuckles were white. made it home though. Thank-you Lord!

Based on how many times it's been called upon, I think my guardian angel is on life support in the ICU.
yup. mine's probably waiting for his retirement. don't have any idea how many times he's kept me out of danger/trouble that I didn't even know I was in. :)
