Late 60's A-100 Van rear?

got one out of an A100 motor home at the junkyard and it was about the same width as the 68 New Yorker rear I had - but it was only $50 and had 3.91 gears..
 
Wow! Kinda wide for an A body. I am looking at one but have not measured it. It seems like I had read that they were close but I was not sure.

I have an artical from Modern Rod where they were going to dragrace with a 1965 Dart Charger. In that magazine there is a tech dept and according to Dick Landy who was the tech editor they used 1962 Dart rearends due to more options for gear ratios.
 
they are wider.tried to install.but measured.it was wider.i went with the abody width i had in a parts duster.just thought if it would work that it would have saved me the trouble of cutting it out of the other car.
