Late model exhaust manifolds in an early A-body

-
I tried the Dakota manifold route on my '64 Valiant and didn't care for the tight fight, shimming motor mounts, etc.

I installed '73 360 manifolds out of a C-body. I used a Borgeson coupler at the steering box their universal joint further up the steering shaft. The only massaging was the enginge pipe flange at the coupler-no big deal.

I welded up 2 1/4" mandrel bends back to the cross member with plenty of room aound the starter. Nice fit, plenty of engine bay room and looks a heck of a lot better than those up swept left side manifolds. And best of all...Cheap!

I also have that question. I have a set off of a 2000 Durango 5.9, but I have an auto trans. I do want to switch to manual though. You can figure out the car. :D

here is my 65 Dart Gt Conv with my late models manifolds on the drivers side. I made my own coupler set up and did not have to grind any where.

The external dimensions on the 2 1/8 manifolds are the same as the 1 7/8 except for the outlet area is slightly different on the outlet on the drivers side.
