LCA, cosmoline color??

Well, Im getting bored not being able to do much on my car, but my K frame and most front end parts I have sandblasted. I want to put the K frame back together so it seems like I am making progress. I have to sandblast the LCA's and install the new bushings. Im wondering if anyone has tried any paint/coating that resembles the factory cosmoline?? Or I may just POR15 them like I did the K-frame. Any suggestions??

I rebuilt a front end for a 69 six barrel road runner last year and he bought the correct resto looking cosmoline. It was fairly easy to spray on, I guess it looked correct, but it tried tacky which I didn't really like.

I don't know how I'll treat my GTS when I restore it this next time, but my tendency has always been to paint all front suspension components with black engine paint. I may do the GTS more "properly" but the car may never leave the family so who knows...
