Pulled the rear end (leaf springs and all) out of a donor car. Looking closely at them, looks like both springs are 'angled' with respect to the axle housing. Looking at the leaf spring in the U-bolts, they're cocked against the right side of the U-bolt at the front and cocked against the left side at the rear (I hope that makes sense). The same can be seen with the gap between the spring and the tire looking front to rear.

Question, Is there a specific way to line up the housing in the springs? Or is it just get out the square and make 'em right?

Cool. Thanks for the answer. I guess it really is that straightforward. I've just never seen one crooked before...
