Leaf spring bushing

Any tips or techniques for replacing the front bushing? The FSM says to install it at the same time you remove the old one, using a special tool of course...
That outer sleeve looks pretty thin, and the rubber sticks out a fair amount past the sleeve, looks like it would tear the rubber loose before you actually started to move the sleeve.
Any tips appreciated!

You got a big vise? I always use mine to press um out and in.
 
Long piece of all thread, two nuts, wrench, washers, piece of pipe large enough in diameter and tall enough to allow the bushing to pull in to, and a air gun.

Pull it through
 
Thanks again folks! I was concerned because that outer shell seems so thin, but it can be done.
