I have a 72 dart slant six with 71/4 rear got an 81/4 from 73 slant six dart are leaf springs the same?

They are the same if they have the same amount of leafs.

The 7¼ has 2.75 inch axle tubes. All other axles have 3 inch tubes. This will require new clip bolts (u-bolts and nuts for a 3 inch tube) and shock plates for a 3 inch axle.
