Hot Rod 63 Valiant
Hot Rodder
Ok guys, I've got my drivetrain planned out & will be running between 300 - 400 horsepower. Now, before I plan to drive it, I want to make sure it "Hooks Up" off the line (Street & Strip).
I have read A LOT of the threads on installing various rear suspension setups on Dusters, Darts, Cudas, etc. but haven't seen one for a Valiant (which would be pretty much the same I would assume). I know the work that is involved here & plan to "mini tub" the body, but I'd like opinions from those who have run all three rear suspension setups to help me decide on which to go with. I know if I go with the leaf spring setup I will have to relocate the leaf springs inward which I have seen kits for that as well, but I wonder if that setup will be enough to really help traction under hard acceleration.
Any ideas, advice, & prior experiences that you would like to share would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again FABO,
Rob
