Left / Right hand side.

Just received new leaf springs which are marked right and left hand side, is that worked out from the rear of the car (your sitting position in the vehicle) or from the front (facing the car?)

Driver side is the left and passenger side is the right.

Thanks for everyone input, I thought that it was from the back, (regardless of where the steering wheel is,-still left hand drive, or even which way the water swirls) but it always pays to check.
