I started to read the following article on streetlegaltv.com about a "Different Is Good" '37 Dodge coupe from Denver, CO.

http://www.streetlegaltv.com/featur...bill-and-gail-rickmans-blown-1937-dodge-coupe

But right after reading the first few lines I knew I had to post the article here for y'all to read.
I just know you guys are going to tear into this like a hungry shark feeding frenzy.

Let the comments begin...

:violent1: Yeah, that's what I want - a Dodge with a stupid dime a dozen Chevy engine in it.:wack:

If it had been an LS motor, I might couldda understood.

"and he knows how to make a Chevy engine run better than a lot of Hemis out there."

So it takes a blown 355 to run better than a stock 331 Hemi? I could agree with that.

Well, those of us that believe a Mopar should have Mopar power can't comment.

We will be labeled purists, have no clue what hot rodding is and on and on.

No purist here, I'm just tired of bellybutton sbc's in street rods. It's one of the reasons I quit going to shows a long time ago...hardly any of the cars showed much originality, everything was a checkbook build with crate motors covered with chinese chrome dress-up parts.

If you want to see true hot rodding go to the salt flats.

I started reading it and thought it was going to have a really different engine setup. Chevy engines in a old coupe of any make are like cow patties in a pasture. You see them everywhere. Nice looking car though.
