We all have our up and downs, loves and hates, depressions and exictements. Life is a highway and I'm going to drive that damn road no matter who thinks what... :cheers: Like a very old biker friend once said, "Fug 'em if they can't take a joke and joke 'em if they can't take a fug." :)

I always loved the Rascal Flatts' version and remember it from Cars. So much in fact that I used it in the shop's [ame="http://youtu.be/BZRg3LIEuT8"]new Introduction Movie[/ame].

My own highway's had a lot of twists, turns, ups and downs lately and it's been more of a Route 66 than an interstate. :-D But my eyes are on the horizon and I've got that pedal to the floor ...................

I've always liked Cochrane's version better. I usually like the original versions of songs better, especially if performed by the writer. I'm not a huge fan of all the rock/R&B songs that country artists have been "country-ing".

Plus, the lead singer of Rascal Flatts makes me want to jam an awl into each of my ears. What a whiny, high-pitched voice. I wonder if he's a castrato. Seriously, I can't listen to that guys voice. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard.

I've always thought most of my life was traveling Route 666. I'm definately on a better interstate of mind now.
