I suspect 392 is 59 deg.? I'm told 331 and 354 may be different? Same cam? I'm waiting to buy a block, till I know. Thanks, ateam.

cams are different from 392 to the smaller models, i know its because it is a tall deck, but I am not sure if the angle is off.

The '56 - '58 354 and 392 use the same cam. You can put the later cam in the early ('51 -'55) 331 and 354 as long as you use all of the later cam attaching hardware.

The early cams have a threaded snout for the fuel pump eccentric wihile the later cams have a snout like the LA.

hi, call hot heads , they are early hemi experts.336-352-4866
I did. Bob measured it , best he could, and got 31-33 deg. I'm thinkin, this is from "horizontal", which tends to point toward a 59deg./vert., like production sbm's. ateam.
