[WANTED] Light bulb socket

Looking for half dozen(6) dash light sockets.The kind that goes in the circuit board for dash lights etc. They are for a 72 dart. Thanks and Merry Christmas to all fabo members.

You can get them in the "Help" section of most auto stores. If they don't have them they could order them. There are 2 different sizes, older ones bigger and newer ones smaller. At this time in their life most of the old ones have one ear broken off and they can't be locked in. I definitely recommend new.

They are all over the web and eBay. Just google “dash light socket” for your car. As mentioned above, 2 sizes, smaller won’t work. I bought some at oreilly too.

Got to find the old guy at the parts store who remembers what they are......ha!

When I got mine the counter man knew exactly what the part # to order and I had them next day. Counter man was a Knowledgeable guy.

Most typical for our a-bodies is 5/8 sockets. The quality and cost of reproductions is all over the place. From a package of several at ebay for coins ( chinesium ) , to individually packaged Standard or NAPA brand at nearly 3 dollars each.
