Limited slip went out?

Hey guys. Doin my best to learn as I go. I had 323s swapped out for 410s earlier this year. Pretty sure I have an auburn cone style unit. Pretty sure it’s not working any longer (did a one leg burnout today). What are my options? Rebuild the limited slip? If so, how difficult is that and what does that all entail? Upgrade? If so, to what???! It’s a 727, 340, 8 3/4. On a mission to 12s 1/4. (Pics are from the gear swap recently done)

What's up with all the weld on the pinion gear shaft?
I had the gear swap done back in April. I don’t recall the deets but here’s some screenshots from the guy that did the swap. I’m a noob at this so it’s like reading/hearing Arabic sometimes. Lol.

It is too short and too elaborate to be a bearing pressing sleeve, I'd say it's a homemade solid spacer to replace the crush sleeve on a 489 case.
I thought about that, but I sure wouldn't want it on mine. lol
