I have a 5 year old girl and a 15 year old. They go to different schools.The youngest is in pre k and at the first of the year she got a letter in the mail from the state of alabama saying she would get free lunch. Well we just laughed and went on. My daughter do like the school lunch so we make her lunch everyday. But I get to school to day and they have a bag for her. It was a bag of food for Thanksgiving. So I call my wife and ask what the heck is this. It is from a local church that hands these old to kids that can't afford food for Thamksgiving. What do I do ? We are not loaded by no means,But we can afford our food. I feel real bad that they gave us the food. I do know there is plenty of families that need it ALOT worse than we do. I feel werid taking it. What you yall think> We also normally make these bag for people in need. Thanks for listing to me Mark

Why feel bad??

Find a family who needs the food, give same to them!!

Sure-take it to a food pantry,it doesn't hurt to keep it going to someone that really needs it.At least your heart is in the right spot!

i just feel bad and I guess some is pride. I just feel back rollin up in new cars and gettin free food.

Contact you local church and ask them if there is a family that can realy use a hand.
