It's in the driveway and not on the street. I did clear that up.I believe he said it was in the street. Maybe I got that wrong.

They wouldn't need to do that if they had a carI get tired of people walking over others,
You could be a politician! lolAnyway, my dear friends, the situation has dried up. We are still friends and good neighbors and I think we have learned to established our boundries and continue to respect one another. I thank you one and all for your input!![]()
I think the best thing is to get the car out of there. Her attitude sounds like she's capable of some vandalism in the future that you can't prove or do anything about. Why take the chance?
I really don't think she'll go that far. She has a way of getting unhinged once in a while and then reconsidering her behavior. I've known those people for about 3 or 4 years, and have learned that we would rather resolve issues than escalate them.
I agree with your points, but I will act on them only if the intrusions are repeated just once. I believe that I have established my boundries, but if they are crossed over, then I will lay down the napalm. The husband is a tough guy (but I'm not a pushover either), but soft hearted, and we get along pretty well. He knows his wife, and always keeps in control of issues. The hubby and me have a good rapport, and I intend to keep it that way.Agreed.
Do not interact with that woman, speak only with the husband and make sure you have a witness. Preferably recording it.
These neighbors have demonstrated that they are not to be trusted.
1) Get the car out of there to prevent her from damaging it. Do it now.
2) Tell her husband that they are no longer allowed to use your washer and dryer due to her inability to be a civilized neighbor is dispute resolution.
3) Any attempts or perceived attempts of retaliation, even if it's the neighbor's kid inadvertently letting his dog crap on your doorstep will be met with severe escalation in legal financial costs for the both of them.
