"Little Old Lady From Pasadena" Shiny Red Superstock Dodge!

-
That's badass. I never knew they actually installed that exhaust on a car at all.

Ahhhh, it brings back memories of my first love in 1974.It, too, was a 1964 Dodge Polara 500, red with black interior ($500). It had bucket seats and console 4 speed manual tranny. It had the very rare factory tach in the console. The motor was a 361 big block which I beefed up. I later found a complete 426 Max Wedge engine ($1000), a complete factory super stock exhuast system from the manifolds to the tips with the cutouts under the doors ($500), and a 456 ratio Sure Grip ($250). It wasn't a factory super stock car but it was a lot of fun to drive.

Sounds like it was a fun car

WOW............just WOW............. One of my favorite cars was my old 64 426. It wasn't a max, but later had a 440. Mine was a 440 model, not a Polara

Offered is this very rare, 1964 Polara 500 with the optional 426 Max Wedge engine. Of the 153 64 Max Wedge Dodge's built, only 5 were Polara 500 2 door hardtops. Of these, this vehicle is the only one known to still exist as per Galen Govier. This car is a factory drag racer & made famous in the Jan & Dean song "Little Old Lady From Pasadena". The Polara 500 was the top of the line Dodge in 1964 and this vehicle is well equipped with bucket seats, console, am-fm with reverb & clock. This vehicle also features the extremely rare TRI-Y exhaust & is the only factory Max Wedge known to have them installed. This car has been looked at & authenticated by Galen Govier. It has been awarded Senior status by the AACA & was featured in Mopar Action magazine. If you are viewing this ad, then the item is still available
