Did you know Bill Maverick is a FABO member? He hasn't been on for quite some time, he would hold a Monday morning chat session and it was cool to get to know him. I enjoyed his stories of Bob Riggle and Linda (Hurst) Vaughn :D

Yep, I've chatted with him here a few times and talked with him when he was at the strip a few years back. Hope he's ok. Great guy.
 
We met Bill at the Mopar Nats one year when my oldest son was about 5 years old. He posed for pictures with my son and was a real nice guy.


I didn't know that he's a member here. That's great!


I hope he's ok and to bump into him on line sometime.

NICE pics Mike! (I'm working on a model of Bill's ole Little Red Wagon) and this is just what the doctor ordered! Help get my butt in gear to get this one started! (I am guilty as charged for putting off beginning this one!) I wanted to make it as close as I could, to the real one and in that search, I found it changed a few times over the years! Which is why I put off starting the model of it!
 
love the Little Red Wagon would love to see someone resurrect that and bring it back to the tracks. Remember when drag racing was about the show ?
