Local Made 273 HiPo Exhaust

I thought I would share some photos of the exhaust system that the local Mufflers Plus built for me.
I took in a couple of photos of 273 HiPo systems that I had for reference and this is what they made for me.

I had them use an old Flowmaster 40 series muffler that I had. It was 2 1/2" in and out and they reduced the outlet to 2 1/4".

The Resonator, over the axle pipe, and muffler hanger are the originals that I removed from the car back in 1967 or 1968 and kept.

Using the flowmaster muffler the Exhaust sounds exactly like it did when I piked the car up new at the dealer in 1967.
