lokar kickdown cable setup

I'm tired of fighting the mechanical kickdown linkage on my cuda trying to get it to stay adjusted. Is the cable setup like lokar has worth it? Thanks.

YES!!!!!
Easy to install.

The Lokar cable we bought for Susanne's 64 Barracuda did not come with the bracket for the front and the illustration for the rear attachment looks like a 6 yr old drew it! How and where do you attach the cable to the tranny at the rear? Pictures would be an amazing help! Her car is a 273 if that makes a difference.Thanks,Dan

i have used the lokar kits for years and love them. they work great.

How and where do you attach the cable to the tranny at the rear?

ya bolt it to the tail housing bolt. the one that the cable is the straightest when bolted to the trans and clipped onto the kick down leaver.

The pictures will be a great help! Were you able to attach everything with the trans in place? I'm not sure my exhaust guy left me enough space to maneuver in there but your pics are a damn sight better than the instructions that came with the cable! Dan
