the road runner is at one of my friends house in a garage in palm beach. my son hasnt driven it in a year and a half. it gets started every month though.... down here cruising season is in the winter months, during the summer hurricane season the cars get put away-only driven on dry weekends-the runner has front/rear sway bars1968 440 engine with summit 224/234 cam-hp exhaust manifolds with stock jetted 6 pak carbs-it had 276 gears was getting 16 mpg on hiway-could easily cruise at 100 mph at 3000 rpm-buried speedometer once at 5800 /150 mph if speedo is correct -now has 323 with powerlock in rear a little more seat of pants feel now-we bought the car in 1997 for 2400 dollars-someone had already put a 440 in it-i converted over to disk brakes-did body work and painted car inmy garage- project took about 10 months-ive owed 3 69 road runners-my first one was in 1973-paid 750 dollars for it with new paint-i want another one one day.....
