does anyone have a brand/part # for some ones longer than stock. I did go to Mancini but no info on their lengths. thank you for your time. RR
9/16" is gonna be TIGHT and likely won't work w/o a little massaging on the plate holes.
original shock plates.any suggestions on a choice. what are OG plates?
Any auto parts store should have them.does anyone have a brand/part # for some ones longer than stock. I did go to Mancini but no info on their lengths. thank you for your time. RR
Regardless of the U bolts you get BE SURE they have the flattened area in the U Or you WILL bend your housing (8 3/4) and get the torque specks from the FSM in 67 it is 45 ft lbsOK I musta missed that. I will recheck & measure my spring & tapered shims thicknesses to see what length I need. thanks Dana
2" plus 3" for the tube, plus 1/2" (just a guess for the shock plate and others) that's 5.5" plus an inch for the nuts 6.5 minimumthe springs/tapered shims are 2" tall
who sells these? my current ones are 7" & I need slightly longer onesRegardless of the U bolts you get BE SURE they have the flattened area in the U Or you WILL bend your housing (8 3/4) and get the torque specks from the FSM in 67 it is 45 ft lbs
