Looking for 4bbl 273 Air cleaner

I'm actually looking for the bottom part of the air cleaner for the 4bbl carb. on the 273 ci engine.

I'm looking for the stock 273 Commando Air cleaner bottom housing. Not sure of the dimensions. I have the chrome cover

This is something you've no doubt already discovered but they are super-tough to find.

The top piece is the same housing used on Slant 6 cars (but unchromed), but the bottom piece has that Carter AFB small opening (5 1/8 inch, I believe). You might consider taking a 6-cylinder base and widening the opening.

Also, a lot of early 383, 361 and 413 cars used the same air cleaner -- particularly models that had the police package. You may find one in a salvage yard, but again, they are very tough to find.
