I might not be able to save my original carb. I'm looking for a Carter AFB for a 66 HP273 with manual trans. #4119. Thanks, Mike

While I'm waiting for a response from Dartman is there anyone else who may have one? I tried to be careful but I broke a couple throttle butterfly screws off in the throttle shaft. Then I broke a drill bit off. I did find a place in Missouri that may have AFB parts. Fingers crossed.

I dug an old carb out of the garage that was too corroded to save. I may be able to salvage the throttle shafts if I'm careful.

They stake the screws on the back side so they won't back out and travel through your engine. I use a grinder to grind the staked end flush to the shaft then they will easily unscrew. Good luck...

Thanks 66fs. I found that out but too late. LOL

Mike - first one I dug out was a 4131S - been reman by Holley. You're not gonna believe this - 2nd one after I cleaned all the gunk off the tag says it's 4119S. Not sure what the S means - standard transmission? After getting them rebuilt was going use one with my 65 GT with a 340 and the other on a 340 in my wagon. Plans have changed on the wagon - now going to be a slant/4 speed with triple Webers, so guess the carb is going to be excess to my needs.

The 4119s is what I need. What kind of shape is it in? There should be a letter and number below the 4119 on the base. Can you read that number. (date code). Thanks.
