Buddy who's not into computers cracked his 273 in his barracuda needs new engine . either motor will do as long as sound and not to far from 21740 zip .

yeah thats the problem finding it locally . but thanks for the thought ,my friends plan is to have it torn down and rebuilt to be ready to drive to carlisle .

I have one that is in a 71 dart granmas car. runs perfect. all orginal air cleaner to pan. fan to flexplate. It was never messed with from new. You can here it run and drive the car. Can be pulled while you wait. Pa 18038. $400 cash . paint it and bolt it in and go. Trans included with the rad and starter for extra $100, Drive train has no leaks. I bought the car for the fenders and the 8 3/4 rear. Steve

Well at least its out there now. The motor runs excellent. The trans is good. You get everything attached from the mounts up except for the harness and power steering pump. For a little extra I'll leave it on with the K-member, suspension Trans & cross member with rad on. On a pallet lifted on with a fork truck , Good V-swap won't last here long.
