Well, if yur installing a superhot engine, you're gunna want to upgrade your suspension/steering/and brakes, so IDK, if I'd get it repaired.
I mean 20 years ago I would, cuz 20 years ago there were competent people to do that work. It ain't rocket science to stick that back in the hole and secure it, but it has to be straight. and ALL the crap that the front end is subject to, goes thru those two tiny pins, so, you really gotta trust your welder..
But if you don't get yours repaired, then grabbing a 50plus year old part from off the internet, you don't know what will come to your door. And even if it looks good from the outside, what will it look like on the inside, and even if it's perfect, if you drive that HotRod like I do mine, you still gotta reinforce it, like the factory 340 Ks were done....... or better.
IMHO, if it ain't bent or twisted, I'd get it fixed, cuz I know a dynomite welder.
Now, here's a tip;
Is your K on the bench yet?
