Just rebuilt my steering coulping in my 74 Duster and can't get the metal clamp over the seal to fit properly and stay on. Is there a spring type clamp available to secure the metal clamp? Thanks

That is just to keep the rubber dust sheld on. May just have to bend it a little to get it on. There should be a small pin that goes in the coupling. You push it in from the outside in and that is what keeps the guts in.

I used two c-clamps to hold the cover on then took some big channel lock pliers and bent the tabs over. Cover is on nice and tight now.

If anyone has a spare hanging on the peg board in the shop, let me know.

Thanks
